Shea & Oats is made of Baraka’s organic and fair-trade Shea butter which is a seed-fat that comes from the Shea tree grown and hand-harvested by hard-working women in the northern Ghana villages. Every time you purchase Shea & Oats you have a direct impact on the women and families in northern Ghana because their laborious income supports educational and economic projects in the community.

How is it made?

All of our soap is hand made by our founder Roxy. Each batch takes about four hours to make and 30 days to cure. A labor of love for sure! See our How Its Made page for a deep dive!

How is it packaged?

Individual Bars come in a simple sleeve and are packaged in plain recyclable paper. Gift bundles come in a decorative gift box.

Does it make a good gift?

Cushy Bubbles handmade soap bars come in a tidy sleeve wrap and look pretty nice if we do say so ourselves. If you need some more fancy, send us a message, we are waiting to help!

Is it recyclable?

All paper wrapping and gift boxes are 100% recyclable! And we don't do plastic here.
